Malvasia is a dry white wine, golden in color, with a characteristic of a quite intense herbal or fruity bouquet of mature banana fruits and acacia flowers.It has an intense flavor. The wine is full of extract, with harmonic, long elegant taste. In good vintages, it gives a dessert wine, known as the sweet Malvasia (mistelles). The most pronounced varietal Malvasia with emphasis northern character (fruitiness) are obtained in the continental part of the Slovenian Istria - Labor.
